It opens on a dark purple backdrop as the word sunset, in chunky geometric letters, slams toward the viewer. A tapering trail extends behind the letters and narrows to a point, shaded from deep indigo down to an orange glow, like a sunrise on the horizon. Layered light blooms around the word, the trail collapses back into the letters, and the motion unwinds smoothly to finish in about four seconds.

The sunset lettering and colors are built into this design, so the controls are playback speed, to tighten or stretch the slam, and freeze on one frame, to export the still with its glow. The short length makes it a fit for channel intros, end cards, stream starting screens and retro or synthwave-style edits where a quick title hit works better than a long one.
