On a near-black frame, 200 pins fade in around a ring and white threads are strung from pin to pin until they form a cardioid, with a label in the corner showing the multiplier. The multiplier then eases from 2 to 3, morphing the figure into a nephroid, and from 3 to 4, landing on a three-cusp shape, while a red band of threads circles the ring. It runs about 11 seconds.

You can change the number of pins, the start and end multipliers, the morph length, the length of the red band, the thread opacity, the label, and the background, thread and accent colors, plus playback speed and the background around the scene. Use it in a math explainer, as a generative art clip, a science channel intro or a calm looping visual.
