Five shiny golden spheres drop onto a dark floor, squash as they land and rebound with a realistic bounce, rendered in 3D.

It opens on a black stage where five golden spheres drop from above. Each sphere picks up speed as it falls, flattens slightly when it hits the floor, and springs back up with a little less height on every bounce. Soft reflections of the spheres glow on the dark floor beneath them. The spheres bounce at different times and positions, and the motion plays out over 11 seconds, the same way on every render.

Change the sphere color, the glow color, the floor color and the background, and set gravity to make the bounces heavier or floatier. The scene is built from real 3D spheres with Three.js, so you can restyle it from gold to any palette.
