# Comment Cards: Comment Animation

Two viewer comments type on in turn, each with an initials avatar and a like and reply row. Use this video template in Subclip or copy its code for Claude.

The frame starts transparent. A round avatar with two initials pops in, followed by a username and a time label such as 2 days ago, and then the comment text types on letter by letter. A like count and Reply link settle underneath. A second comment follows below with its own colored avatar, name and typed text, and both comments stay on screen together until the eight seconds are up.

Set the initials, username, time label, comment text and like count separately for each of the two comments. A scheme option switches between the transparent overlay and a light-text color scheme, and you can turn scanlines on or off. Use it to read viewer feedback aloud, answer questions in a follow-up video, or show audience reactions over b-roll.

## How to use this template

1. Download Subclip for Mac or Windows. Every template on this page comes pre-installed.
2. Open the Templates panel, pick Comment Cards and drop it on your timeline.
3. Change the text, colors and timing in the layer settings, or ask the AI agent to edit it for you.
4. Export your video, or download the code to use the template in your own project.
