The animation opens on a black frame. A needle moves across it and sews an uppercase word one letter at a time, leaving a dashed line of thread with small needle holes along each stroke. The default word is SUBCLIP in green thread, set in wide, evenly spaced letters across the middle of the screen. The stitches finish within four seconds, and the completed word holds before an optional exit.

Type your own word or short phrase, choose the stitch variation and the thread color, and turn the exit on or off. The stitches vary slightly from letter to letter, so the word looks sewn by hand rather than printed. Use it for titles in craft, sewing, fashion and DIY videos, or as a handmade-looking logo or name reveal.
