The clip opens on a dark charcoal background with three lines of white handwritten text stacked on the left. First a wavy orange underline draws under the top line. Then two orange strokes cross out the middle line. Finally a curved bracket draws in beside the third line. Each mark appears one after the other within four seconds, and the strokes boil slightly so they look drawn by hand rather than set by a computer.

Replace the three lines with your own words, for example the point to stress, the idea to reject and a side note. Adjust boil to make the line wobble stronger or calmer. You can also turn the background off and lay the marks over your own footage. It suits explainers, lesson recaps, myth-versus-fact segments and talking-head videos that need on-screen emphasis.
