The clip opens on a dark green gradient with a small subject label in the center. A white ellipse draws itself around it in a loose, wobbly hand, then marker-style hatching fills the inside. A curved connector line sweeps out to the side and a handwritten note pops in at its end. Throughout the four seconds the strokes boil slightly from frame to frame, like a pencil sketch, and the circle squashes and stretches as it lands.

Change the subject text and the handwritten label, choose the scribble and connector styles, set which side the label sits on, and pick a stroke type. Boil controls how much the lines jitter, and the random variation setting gives a different hand-drawn shape each time. Switch the background off to circle something in your own footage, such as a button in a screen recording or a detail in a product shot.
