The title and subtitle land first at the top of a dark navy frame. Then the regions of metropolitan France fill in, each in its own shade of red, orange or yellow, with names such as Bretagne, Île-de-France, Grand Est and Occitanie written on top. Corsica sits off the southeast coast. A Low to High gradient bar under the map explains the colors, and a footnote notes the illustrative data and boundary source. The scene lasts twelve seconds.
